A Child's Cruelest Trick

Scene:  a Mother, playing innocently with her Child.

Child:  Mom!  Let's pretend it's nap time!

Mother:  Okay!

2 seconds later

Child:  Okay, let's pretend nap time is over.

Mother:  Let's pretend it's not.

Child scampers off to play something else.  Mother groans and gets up.
