This past Friday, April 30th, was a very special day for many reasons. First, my sister and BIL are moving, and Friday was my sister's last day of work! She is so excited to get to be a stay-at-home mom now, and I am excited for her!
Friday was also my MIL's last day of work. Jamie's Mom has been working at the same job for 30 years and Friday was the last day of work for her! Her co-workers threw her a little retirement party at her workplace and we went up for the festivities! We are so proud of Mom for all hard work and so glad for her that it is done now!
The third reason Friday was special is that Jamie's Mom's Mom came to the Retirement Party and finally got to meet Hadassah! All the great-grandkids call Jamie's grandma GiGi. It was so fun seeing GiGi hold and love on Haddie! It got me thinking of when GiGi first met Sophia and Riley! It is so special that my kids still have great-grandparents alive to be a part of their lives.
