Last Saturday, January 10, we decided to give Riley rice cereal. We gave it to him for about a week, and have since stopped. I did some additional research and it's not really recommended to give any other food aside from my milk till 6 months. Since stopping he's doing just fine with only nursing. Still sleeping great, etc! So, we'll try again in a month or so. But, we did videotape his first taste and it's pretty cute, esp. when Soph gets some on her hand... We thought we'd share this cute moment with all of you!

You could also try different kinds of food first. We did egg yoke first but pureed/stained meats are often suggest as first foods b/c their properties are closest to milk. But I know each family needs to pray about this decision for themselves.
